As a follow on to last month's blog "Saving Face', the last item we discussed was Vitamins and how they help feed the epidermis.
There are three main vitamins that help in this process. They are -
Vitamin A - Vitamin A assists the skin in producing healthy, robust cells.
Vitamin C - Vitamin C helps to mop up damaging excess free radical atoms and molecules, and is vital for the maintenance of the structural proteins (collagen and elastin) in the skin.
Vitamin E - Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant - but is only effective when combined with the other vitamins.
